Our corporate objective is to not only meet customer expectations but to exceed them.

Our standard business terms and conditions are shown below. These do not affect your statutory rights.

  • Prices are subject to change. We reserve the right not to supply. In most cases this would be due to an incorrect description or price of an item.
  • All items are available whilst stocks last and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
  • Payments are accepted by Bank Transfer, Cheque (sterling /drawn on a UK bank), PayPal or Credit/Debit card via PayPal. Other payment methods are considered on request. PayPal payments of £1000+ will be subject to a 2% transaction fee.

Pictures, images and descriptions:

As you can see we do spend a lot of time on photographing our items which do form part of the description. We do this so you can clearly see what the condition of the coins or items are like and if there is any defects marks etc on the item. We also try to publish as much information as we have about the item.

When things go wrong:

If we fail to meet your expectations please let us know – we do value feedback and believe all complaints are an opportunity for us to improve our service. You can contact us via the 'Contact Us' link at the top of this page.

We will acknowledge all complaints / feedback within 3 working days and update you as to how long the problem will take to investigate. All complaints are taken seriously and the decision agreed with one of our Directors.

Damaged or broken items:

If one of your purchases is damaged upon receipt please contact us for information on how to solve the problem.

Postage & Packaging:

All of our items offered for sale are all available for posting unless otherwise stated.

We post all over the world including the UK. All posting is sent by Signed / insured Delivery Services only Royal Mail & Other, Postage costs quoted are non-negotiable. Postage cost are at cost plus a small fee to cover packing materials, admin and handling.

All shipping originates from UK Mainland. Posting is normally conducted within 48 hours of cleared payment being received.

Please contact us in advance if purchasing high value items. There are maximum amounts that Royal Mail and others will provide insurance against loss.

All Stock is held at bank

For security purposes all stock is held in a Bank vault. No stock is held at our premises. We are normally able to post items within 2 working days of an order.

Changing your mind:

UK customers have the right to a 14 day cooling off period from date of receipt of your goods without giving a reason for the return. You simply pay the cost of returning the items to us. We will refund any money due to you within 14 days of such a cancellation. Postal charges & service charges are not refundable. We offer the same terms for non UK customers.

We are unable to refund or replace items until they are received by ourselves - you are advised to insure the parcel. All items returned for refund or replacement under the 14 day cooling off period must be in original unopened packaging and in resalable condition - as an example you should do no more than examine an item as you would in a shop prior to purchase.

We are unable to accept items back after the 14 day cooling off period expires.

Your privacy:

AVENUE PLACE LIMITED is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. Should you have any concerns about your privacy please contact our Managing Director, Ian Collins using our contact us page.

We collect information about you based upon the facts given at the time of ordering or registering. All information is collected by AVENUE PLACE LIMITED is for their use, some information may be shared with our bank for the approval of credit card transactions (this may include the given card holders name & address), and our couriers to allow the swift delivery of your goods.

All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information is for the use of AVENUE PLACE LIMITED in operating our retail business and is used solely for the purpose.

You have the right to opt in to marketing material via our order process (you must choose to receive marketing material when ordering or via the automated newsletter subscription links on our website before we will market to you). In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act - We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). This website uses cookies.
