Brown case, embossed and with gold edging.

Silk embossed with retailers mark of John Payne of 48 Market street, Blackpool.

Slight warping at edge otherwise overall good condition.

Clasp closes well to case.

The 1887 specimen/proof set coins look much better housed in a contemporary case of the period in my opinion.
